The FPS 425M-NC is a CNC universal milling and drilling machine from the FPS Dualmaster series, built in Germany for shops that need CNC productivity without giving up manual flexibility. Choose between two industry-leading controls — Siemens SINUMERIK ONE or Heidenhain TNC 620 FS — and switch between full CNC programs and handwheel operation whenever the job calls for it.
A main drive with up to 20.4 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque, together with stepless spindle speeds up to 5,000 rpm, handles both heavy cuts in steel and fast finishing passes. Feeds and rapid traverse up to 394 in/min shorten cycle times, while hydraulic tool clamping on the ISO 40 spindle makes every tool change quick and effortless.
The ±90° manually swiveling head and an extra 5.9 in of head travel along the Y-axis give you access to complex features in a single setup. With a rigid cast frame, a 24.8 × 18.5 in fixed table rated for 770 lb and a full machine enclosure, the FPS 425M-NC is an ideal fit for toolrooms, mold shops, prototyping and small-batch production.
